“A cat café is a theme café whose attraction is cats that can be watched and played with. Patrons pay a cover fee. generally hourly, and thus cat cafés can be seen as a form of supervised indoor pet rental. Cat cafés are quite popular in Japan, with Tokyo being home to at least 39 cat cafés. A pioneer is Cat’s Store (猫の店 Neko no Mise) by Norimasa Hanada, which opened in 2005. The popularity of cat cafés in Japan is attributed to many apartments forbidding pets, and to cats providing relaxing companionship in what may otherwise be a stressful and lonesome urban life. Other forms of pet rental such as rabbit cafes, are also common in Japan.”-Wikipedia.

That thing I watched: Yuri Yuri

It’s easy to sum up this show: it’s adorable and you feel like you should go to jail after watching a few episodes. Yuri Yuri revolves around what I’m pretty sure is Princess Bubblegum’s insane lesbian lost twin Akari and her group of friends. It initially sets up a small plot involving Akari’s first day of middle school and joining the Amusement Club. Viewers may be astounded by how quickly the plot transforms into a much simpler idea: panties. Lots and lots of panties. If you haven’t seen Yuri Yuri but think you can imagine every way an anime could use panties, you’re in for a mind-scarring surprise. Now, I’m very mature gay as shit so it didn’t bother me, but you might be careful about letting your kids watch this show. Yuri Yuri has two rules: everything is kawaii as shit and everyone is a closet lesbian; so it’s basically every anime club I’ve ever been in. Yuri Yuri’s humor becomes repetitive fast, but it’s definitely the kind of anime that becomes funnier when watched with friends. The art style is very well executed, and I think perhaps with a wider range of character types and a better variety of humor, Yuri Yuri could be a very good slice-of-life series. I’ve read that the manga is better, but everyone says that about everything, even when there’s not a manga.

Too Long; Too Fucking Lazy To Read: Yuri Yuri is fun to watch with friends but might be boring to watch alone UNLESS certain aspects (panties) of it appeal to you (you sick fuck).  It gets 6/10 panties.

I don’t know why I’m posting this, nobody reads my page.
